Latest end dates for the campaign in the UK just announced
The following table shows the present estimated end dates, based on factory performance and information supplied by growers. The indications are that the weighbridges will close for the reception of sugar beet on the end date shown.
| Factory | End date | Comment |
|---|---|---|
| Bury St Edmund | 13th March'10 | Now closed |
| Cantley | 11th March'10 | Now closed |
| Newark | 12th March'10 | Now closed |
| Wissington |
10th March'10 |
Now closed |
The above dates quoted are reliant on all of the estimated beet being lifted and delivered. All growers should inform their Area Manager of any changes to estimated tonnage to be delivered immediately. If a grower anticipates that they will have a problem with harvesting their crop or their delivery schedule then they should contact their British Sugar Area Manager.
All contract holders will be written to, by British Sugar, announcing the estimated end dates for beet delivery to their delivery factory
