Vote Here --- NFU Sugar Board online election voting
Dear Grower
In November 2009, NFU Sugar invited nominations for three positions on their board. I am pleased to say that we have five eligible candidates for the three available positions.
When I attended the grower meeting in Peterborough in September I highlighted the excellent work done by the NFU Sugar Board and its importance to all growers. By voting you can select the candidate(s) that you feel best represent your sugar beet interests. Please use your vote, to ensure that the Sugar Board continues to be fully representative.
The next stage of the process is to invite you to vote on which three of the candidates you would like to represent you on the board. To clarify, you can vote for up to three of the candidates on the same voting form.
As indicated in the November election letter you can vote for candidates online instead of returning the paper form. If you wish to do this please access the online voting form here or click on the link at the top of this page to complete this simple process. Alternatively, you should have received a voting form in the post, along with short personal statement from each of the candidates, which you can return to us by post. Only one voting form per beet contract can be accepted, either paper or online submissions only will be counted.
Paper forms should be returned to NFU Sugar at the address shown on the paper form. The deadline for receipt of voting forms is 12 noon, Friday 19 February 2010.
The successful candidates will take up their post on the sugar board at the March 2010 board meeting.
Yours sincerely
Peter Kendall
President, NFU
